I woke up this morning, with a pain in my side and grey clouds outside. This sounds like the opening lyric to a blues song, but alas I am not perched on a porch with my flat cap and guitar just yet.
So how to turn a frown upside down?
A hug from someone special

I love to take longs walks by the park to hear child laugh! it always brings a smile to my face to hear them laugh uncontrollably!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen my children give me a hug without me asking for one, it melts my heart and slowly pushes the blues away.
ReplyDeleteI usually take walks outside...enjoying the sun and beautiful weather...it makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteMy first instinct is to roll over and put the pillow over my head, but usually sleeping in all day isn't allowed. Lucky for me I have my ever-adorable and always loving dog to get my spirits up. She doesn't know the meaning of a bad day and her wagging tail and always being excited to see me perks me right up.
ReplyDeletefriends & chocolate.....love the pink telephone, how cute!
ReplyDeletehave given you an award today....take a look at my blog, and thank you for having such a lovely blog xx
Chocolate is always an integral part of my "bad day " remedy. Trusty, reliable, sweet sweet chocolate...*drools in style of Homer Simpson*
ReplyDeletei go out with my dog!
ReplyDeleteA cup of green tea, followed by some of the other half's homemade porridge and the cats doing something dweeby usually makes me smile however I'm feeling in the morning.
