I want to, at least once in this lifetime, have a head full of flaming, red locks.I was always jealous of everyone cooing at my sisters auburn curls when we were younger, while I yanked angrily at my own straggly mousy brown mop. (Which is now a blonde mop.)

I would love to be brave enough to just stroll into my salon and demand a red head, but alas, it is not always so simple.
It holds such significance in fairy tale stories of the past, and captures my imaginations with characters in the present.

There is something so strong, sexy and powerful about vibrant red hair.

Oh yes, one day, I want to have redder than red, Jessica Rabbit inspired hair. Please?
its so nice to read an ode to read hair, being flame-haired myself ive come across far too many people who have been rude about it, personally i think they are envious! you should try it, its nice being different to everyone else, and is surprisingly easy to wear :)
ReplyDeletethis makes me want to dye my hair red! Love it!
ReplyDeletered is amazing! I'd recommend trying a red wig before taking the plunge - reds fade quickly but are also difficult to reverse. I have a few clients going Jessica Rabbit-red right now and I'm loving it! good luck!

your new blog layout is GORGEOUS
it is so funny....well it isn't, but when i was a kid it seemed like everybody hated the redheads, myself included. and the freckles were hated, too. and now i love that redheads have their day in the sun. so many women go for this hair color, and the men seem giddy for it, too. redheads revenge is HERE! :0

oooh gorgeous.....
ReplyDeletealthough i personally hae a strong desire to go to the hairdressers and go platinum like marilyn or gwen stefanni...but alas alack! my courage always fails me and i come out with the same old highlights.
oh! to be a little bit braver!
After being an (almost) natural blonde my whole life, I just turned to red and that old adage that I used to follow about blondes having more fun is not true! I've never felt sexier or more confident in all my life. Hail red heads!
ReplyDeleteI colored my hair blonde for years but always wondered what I would look like as a redhead. One day, while on vacation, I simply walked into a salon and did just what you were pondering and impulsively requested a new hair color. I've never, ever regretted it.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Me too! I used to have pillar box red hair when I was 17 but there's no photos of me at the time – so want to go back there but no idea if it suited me or not!
ReplyDeletered heads always have more fun (I can say that because I'm a fun red head) so do it, It's only hair color you can always go back, but I bet that you wont.
ReplyDeleteI love red hair! You should do it!
