Someone pointed me towards a great concept blog today, The burning house poses that difficult question...
"If your house was burning, what would you take with you?"
The blog recognises this question is 'a conflict between what's practical, valuable and sentimental. What you would take reflects your interests, background and priorities', and features contributors photographs of their most treasured possessions.
Have you ever thought about it?
I think mine would include:
* Photos (From the pre-Facebook/ digital days where we printed pictures!) *
* Sentimental pieces of Jewellery *
* Letters. Lots and lots of very personal letters *
* Laptop and IPhone *
* My Grandfathers old first aid war tin *
* Vintage white knitted shawl I seem to take everywhere with me *
* My trusty old camera from University *
* Oh, and of course, any loved ones (cheeky smile) *
