In my vintage clothing company 'The Cherry Closet' we have been busy sorting out the costumes for a theatre production of Tennessee Williams' 'A Streetcar named Desire' by Dramatic Productions.I watched the 1951 film starring Marlon brando and Vivien Leigh - and was glued to the screen! The performances are intense and the old cinematic lighting is so effective. Have any of you ever seen this play before?
We can't wait to help put all the styling together - and we get to dress the lovely actress Nicole Faraday in her leading role portraying Blanche DuBois.
