Hello Hubble

I currently live with my sister and her husband, and last week they got a kitten.

They called it Hubble (yes, as in the telescope).

And I haven't told them this yet, but she is the cutest thing I have ever seen...and I'm therefore not moving out.

Ever.

Ssshhhh.

Styling a Streetcar

In my vintage clothing company 'The Cherry Closet' we have been busy sorting out the costumes for a theatre production of Tennessee Williams' 'A Streetcar named Desire' by Dramatic Productions.

I watched the 1951 film starring Marlon brando and Vivien Leigh - and was glued to the screen! The performances are intense and the old cinematic lighting is so effective. Have any of you ever seen this play before?

We can't wait to help put all the styling together - and we get to dress the lovely actress Nicole Faraday in her leading role portraying Blanche DuBois.

"I know I fib a good deal. After all, a woman's charm is 50% illusion. "

A small space to call my own

Currently looking for a little flat to reside in, once again, after my 22nd move last month!

Why is it so hard getting settled? maybe it's just me.

In between rent, bills, location and time scales, I haven't stayed put in one home for more than six months at a time for years. So disruptive!

Have decided a vintage gypsy caravan is the way forward.....

(or this lovely attic space via here - is just , so .... cosy.)

Bad blogger. Must blame hot men.

I haven't blogged in so long. I have a very good, valid reason for this.

I realise I'm years behind the rest of the TV world, but two months ago I discovered Grey's Anatomy.

Was a dedicated ER fan for years, so when my friend handed me the box set to get stuck into I was cold and resisted for the first three episodes or so.

Then it got better. Then it got got brilliant.

Then I got addicted!

Back to back episodes, late nights, early mornings.... I'm now in the seventh season and have wracked up an insane amount of GA viewing hours.

Oh how I have laughed, and cried, and high fived Dr Bailey on the screen.

The addiction has been spurred on by six very key factors....

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

Seriously? How many hot doctors can one TV show have?

And in the McSteamy v. McDreamy debate?

I'm Team McSteamy all....the....way.
